Dr. Zahid A Khan, MSc (Geology) -1970, University of Lucknow and PhD-1978 (Geology) from the Aligarh Muslim University. He has worked for the Directorate of Geology and Mining, U.P. Lucknow as exploration geophysicist. He was associated with an UNDP project related to exploration of Mineral Resources of U.P. state. He has participated in International Association of Mathematical Geology (IAMG) conferences held in Germany and Japan. His area of interest is Geo-statistical models, Sedimentology, and Earth Evolution. He has published 50 Research papers on aspects of sedimentology, geo-statistical models and Global tectonics and Earth evolution.
