4th Sept, 2011: The winners of our competition to receive a free copy of the popular book, Dinosaurs and the Expanding Earth, were announced as the book was officially published on the 4th September, 2011.

The competition proved highly popular with hundreds of entries. This was despite our web site experiencing a high level of automated Internet traffic from an IP address which overloaded our web servers for several hours. Parts of our web site and contacts were disabled as we rectified this problem.

Most of you choose the correct answer that Dinosaurs and the Expanding Earth was in the top hundred in the Amazon Bestsellers Rank in Gravity & Geophysics.

If you didn’t win you can still buy a copy of the book at all good book shops. The cheapest copies at the moment are available from The Book Depository for only £9.71 with free world-wide delivery (16th Sept. Update - we have received reports that orders placed with The Book Depository in August are still ‘processing’). Amazon UK is also offering the book for only £10.44 with free delivery in the UK (16th Sept. Update - we have received reports that orders placed with Amazon in the UK, US and Germany have been received within a few days).
